I found a very funny thing that Viper was doing. It's like a WiLd loop lolz. Actually I made a response in my Response.txt that whispers the person who triggers it and says "Your whispers are open" the code is;
">whisper?me","WHISPER rn$ nkc$ :txtFrmt$ Hey nkc$ your whispers are open :pchar-1$",0,"" and if their whispers aren't open then the code to tell that person on main that your whispers are off is;
"ERR NOUSERWHISPER","PRIVMSG rn$ :txtFrmt$ nkc$ your whispers are off :ochar-1$",0,"" I have them in my Response.txt as;
"ERR NOUSERWHISPER","PRIVMSG rn$ :txtFrmt$ nkc$ your whispers are off :ochar-1$",0,"" >whisper?me","WHISPER rn$ nkc$ :txtFrmt$ Hey nkc$ your whispers are open :pchar-1$",0,"" (the chatter will type >whisper me and Viper will whisper him and if his/her whispers are off then the ERR NOUSERWHISPER response will be triggered automatically). The code is fine and logically it should work and it does but Viper keeps saying nick your whispers are off nick your whispers are off and so on... Looks like an infinite loop to me or a bug. Another thing, why the time blocking options aren't working?
*Edit* As you guys already know I only run Viper in community room so assume that all things I said above were happening in community chat room.

Klick in Viper Controls to Kick/Warn Then the Protection IRC/watch! Viper look to Boot's, Scripts. Also Whisper reply in Gerneral. Some Scripts/Bot's reply the Visper from Viper!! Greets ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

I was talking about Time block/Fake time options thing plus that irc watch isn't that much good ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png) becuase after ticking it if someone in your room will dehost/deowner anyone Viper would give same script warning to him/her.

purebulldog1 I think you are talking about that Notice thing in kick/warn tab. Yes after ticking it Viper kicks/warns/specs the person who checks Viper's time but still that option shows our time (in community chat it does). Just try to set your notice on warn then check your Viper's time yourself. Your Viper will warn you but it would show your time too. I am talking about that Viper used to hide our time (it wasn't showing time at all in old days) but now it does, no matter we tick on Time options / block time in the general tab. Your response.txt can kick when any person checks your time too and the code is:"TIME","",1,"ACCESS rn$ add deny nkr$!id$@GateKeeperPassport 2 :[nkr$ checked me.nk$'s time]\r\nKICK rn$ nkr$ :Anti timecheck kick" Plus irc watch acts in a funny way. Yes it does warn when any script comes in room but it also warns when anyone in your room dehosts him/herself. Still I didn't get my answer. Why Viper isn't blocking it's time like in old days and fake time isn't working too. Viper still shows our original time. Regards.

Not sure why the time options on the General tab of the Control board no longer functions, I never noticed before. I also thought that the General Tab Time Options settings were for masking time ONJOIN to a room, not for while in the room... Truthfully I never concerned myself with that as I always have had Viper kick when someone checks its time. My reasoning is: It welcomes you to the room, it welcomes you back, it responds to trouble in the room automatically, so you know it is a BOT, why you checking the time then...
As for the IRC Watch acting funny, well I believe its reacting to the channel and a mode change(dehost/host are mode changes) within the channel, so it would be reacting accordingly. So, as Viper says the Name of the person setting off the IRC Watch, You can taylor the message to:
may be a SCRIPT/ or has made a mode change within the room...

Hi Toland, thats from the database, On the control panel just above the Time Options on the General tab, In the Auto-Refresh/Rejoin/Plus you will see Adv. If you uncheck the box next to it , it should stop sending the messages...

I think time mask option got screwed during making extentions for external connection. It needs some adjustments.
I've not checked it, but I think viper & server are replying each other. Best way to check is to open raw data window and see whats happenning. To what message viper is replying too.

Come on purebulldog1 don't be sorry it was never your fault. May be I couldn't explain that at first place cheers. We all are still learning. Yes «¤§£¥¤» from your point of view you are right too. I think that's what irc watch and +M have in common that they both warn on mode change (the only difference is that +M changes mode against one's action in a funny way). And Armstrong I checked that raw data window too and more funny things were going there. I think you better give it a look. Ciao for now ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) .
