I think you can ST4.. it's calling seperate calls for each exe (by coincedence I talked with Chuck about it this morning) Blaine: www.webagent007.org/viper/ViperAddon_Script.zipI see a hammer.VBS in that download lol, it has to be the newer one

the old one must be stuck in My cache.. I'll try to clean it out ...
yep.. darn cache! LOL
Thanks Web...
One other question...
not sure about others but in MY case the bot name is normally used on the end rather than the beginning... i.e.. "hello bot" rather than "bot hello"
if this is hard to change around, I'll just have the script check for "bot" on the end of the string

hmmm none of the script that use op1 are working for me... I have the op1 file in the correct folder... what am I missing?
edit:
My op1 file was in the format of nic and ident.. I changed to just ident and now it works fine!
now I just need another option for checking op2.txt so I can grab gold LOL
Thank you Web!! ;D ;D

Another question... Can one function call another function?
i.e.
I am setting up random responses for: greetings hello hi hiya
etc..
I would like to make one function with the possible responses and have it called by each of the above mentioned functions.

I dont think one function can call the other, I'm not sure how to make Viper read what it doesnt display.. maybe abiltiy to use wildcards in your functions would be improvement.. must be possible.. I think

I just started playing with the script add-on and it looks like a lot of fun! One thing I ran into was that the program is looking for viper on the C: drive... which I have as a removable drive I made a copy of the viper directory op1 on a disk in that drive and I no longer got err0r 76 ;D If possible, can the program be updated so it is not C: drive specific? Thank you!

I had tried IRC for a while.. that didn't work out.. people are in love with msn So, I'm back! lol anyways.. I am using the addon in the Community room now.. and I am wondering how to get it to post the current time when someone enters.. I seem to recall I was doing that somehow a few months back.

Try moveing one viper out of your program files and into a different directory,, then load another viper in the program file, that might help you get your viper talking to each other ;D,, that way you can go into your room via web chat and watch vipers talk to each other!

Blaine, I think you mean with the command in Onjoin?
"**","PRIVMSG nkc$ :TIME", 0,""
Remember to put it as the last entry in your Onjoin file.

OK pulling my hair out....... the welcome add-on works great!!! But the trivia add-on just post's the question and no matter how you answer it it dosn't see that you entered the answer? Also is there a command for starting the trivia without having to manualy starting it via the controls on the system I'm running it on? More or less a Host could start it.
