It's also happening to me... My addon doesent react on the mode change... Kind of the same problem isen't it?

ok without code I can only guess, hackerk are you using the "time stamp welcome" source as base example? and CLB take a look at frmProtection in the Script addon source, that one responds to "-o" and "-q" (wich are modes) you need to look at the "tmrAsyncCall_Timer" sub, suppose you don't put in select cases in there and parse the "strAysnc" directly you should get everything. I'll help.. look up the "Private Sub tmrAsyncCall_Timer()" in any of the addon source codes and change into: Private Sub tmrAsyncCall_Timer() Debug.Print strAysnc
tmrAsyncCall.Enabled = False
End Sub
and look in your immediate window inside of Visual Basic.. I'll add printscreen: ^^ I see modes and privmsg, if you done this part right and it still dont respond I really need some of your code to help.

hi again, yeah i am using the bog standard example welcome add on, i have added the debug.print statement, but still only get join, away, and unaway responses. if i type anything into the chat it does appear in the debug window. where can i download the lastest version of the VAddonEngine.dll ? and can i suggest you switch on Auto Increment on the Version Number Complie options. hack

Does case "o" matsh on +o? And whats the diferense betwin IRCMessages_srv.Mode and IRCMessages_srv.RoomModes? Is it that RoomModes only shoew the room modes and mode shows every mode?
