First things first.... Specs: WinXp with Viper 3.83.17 plus a bunch of stuff from the mega pack.
Ok... I've been trying to get Viper in to the Groups chat with no luck after following the instructions in the Communtiy Pack read me file and another site about Viper. The grabber enters the room and I'm able to grab my info. I've changed the passport in Viper to the updated (from grabber), registered ocx's under 'eXtras', enter the URL:roomname or the G_roomname and it tries to load the room, but I continually get a non-authentication from the server dialog box. Sometimes it asks me to install the new ocx after I register them from the menu. Any help would be appreiciated.. thanks.

Look to Viper and Grabber, the same Passport....GURU or lee, mark........! In both the same. RM:G_<Roomname> is correct. (When you will join in GroupRoom) Look to ChatHTLM in Foulder::: C:\Programme\viperbot\ViperBot 3.83\VTS <PARAM NAME="Server" VALUE="207.68.167. 251:6667"> I hope, Your Viper runs! groups.msn.com/ShadowFXByAnthrax/_whatsnew.msnwGreets Dead

After messing with a few things (don't remember what, though), I was able to get it to enter normally once, and all functioned perfectly. When I tried for a second time, it told me I was banned from the MSN chat server, and I didn't change a thing since (besides the passport update, and registering the ocx)
I guess it's not really that important for the Community chat. I just thought it would be fun. I don't remember Viper being this difficult when I used it a few years back, before I worked with scripts, and not really worth the hassle. Oh, well. Thanks for your time.

"besides the passport update"
But did you also update the userrole?
"I don't remember Viper being this difficult when I used it a few years back"
Thats not Vipers fault, MSN just makes it harder and harder everytime.

"But did you also update the userrole? "
Yes. I updated everything to be imported into the database from the grabber.

I don't mean to accuse Viper. It just frustrating that there are more steps to be taken to get it (or any bot/script) to function properly. If anyone is TO be blamed, it would be MSN, but you really can't blame them either.
On another note, I've also found out that if you use the grabber to update your info using one Community chat, you can't enter another chat with that same info you've just imported. That was my problem with trying it the second time. Along the same line, I've figured out that once you've entered the Comm chat successfully, you can't type in a new Comm chat URL using the same info. It requires it to be grabbed and imported again.
Is there a way to bypass the agreement on the front Communities marked 'Adult' so it doesn't show every single time? It seems to throw Viper in a refreshing loop on that page, unless you're quick and and click the box and hit the "I Agree" button in a matter of 2 seconds (or less).
Thanks again- 23Skidoo
