Greetings and salutations. I am getting the runtime error 1008 when I try to run Viperbot. It starts ok and I update my passport info well, just when I try to make Viper go to my Community Chatroom things start to go wrong. I am running XP Pro service pack2 and did not have this error until I added the .Netframework packages to my comp yesterday, now Viperbot won't connect with the above error. Does anyone know how to fix this error? I have un-installed the framework from my computer to no avail. What can I do? I have done a google search on this and replaced Mswinsck.ocx but still the problem persists. Any help appreciated

Thanks for the reply Yahoo, I will try re-installing Viper tomorrow when I wake up. I do hope this works, thanks again, I will let you know how it goes EDIT: Do I need to un-install Net Framework 1.1? I have both 1.1 and 2.0 installed. As of now, I am unable to run my ViperBot on my comp. I have completely un-installed and removed Viper folder from the C drive, looked for instances of ViperBot in the registry and deleted them all, and re-installed from scratch but I get the same error as above. I am at a loss as to what to do now

I have tried your suggestion and downloaded the tool but to no avail. I have also tried the full install of 3.83.17 full setup but still get the stated error above. I don't know what the .NetFramework changed on my computer but it has stopped ViperBot from working, so I have decided to completely un-install my bot from this computer. Luckily, I have two computers though this one is my main one, I still have ViperBot on my old one so, thanks Yahoo for all your help. ;D I am frustrated as hell, but at least I still have Viper on one computer still working. I will not be adding the Framework to that computer. Cheers Yahoo
