I would say that seeing as this is an MCN Chat thread, you are still trying to get into MCN. MCN has joined with NSM now....(or so I believe) At least, I cant't get into MCN Chat any more.

Erm... Viper works... But does not use it's response database... I'm quite sure my settings didn't change, so what's new? ( remember I'm a relative dummy , so don't go too technical on me ) Thanks so far. lads

I have no idea why responses aren't working. Have you got sever and client messages turned on, and if so, are you getting an error 62? I presume you are in NSM now? p.s nsmserv.ath.cx in the ip.text still work for me.
p.p.s. In Oasiz the responses WILL NOT work for me anymore unless I am properly authenticated (no Guest_name) I tried NSM as a Guest and my responses seemed to work fine.

Yes, I am in NSM now, I DO have server & client turned on, and I haven't got the faintest what you mean by: p.s nsmserv.ath.cx in the ip.text still work for me. I sort of use Viper like I use the vacuum-cleaner: Plug in and go Don't ask me to take it apart and fix it: I'm at a complete loss

Yep, I can connect the "normal" way. Uninstalled the whole kit, and started all over again with the 383+ (~17) version. Network problems are preventing you from BLABLABLA And still no Viper in my chatbox Debug window: RECEIVED1: :NSMCHAT 002 Viper :Your host is NSMCHAT - running version 3.08.3225.2504:NSMCHAT 003 Viper :This server was created Jan 1 2004 at 14:28:33 PDT:NSMCHAT 004 Viper :3.08.3225.2504 -cdefgil,mrsSuwx RECEIVED1: :NSMCHAT 702 Viper :Channel not found
