No problems detected. something strange: The desktopPC two feet away (I'm in the same network)runs Viper smoothly. Connects just fine, and installation of Viper on this one is also my handywork. I can't seem to figure out WTF went wrong. Uninstall (AND delete all files) and re-install didn't do the trick...

Erm... The one with the WORKING Viper (desktop) is XP-home, the other (laptop) is XP-prof. P-IV and P-III, respectively. And I CAN open a chat-window within Viper... In that instance Viper acts like a browser

Why don't u copy the whole, viper map from the desktop pc to your other pc ? , if it's working there, it should also work at your other one White

Yes good idea White,
Nestor can you copy the Viper folder from your pc to your laptop and overwrite it? (so overwrite the not-working one with the working one)
And try for example viper on the laptop when the one on your pc is not running?

It worked! I just deleted the complete dir Program Files/Viperbot and replaced them with the workind Viper's Dir, and registered the dll. Both Vipers are now active in the same Chatbox. However (which brings me to my original queston): No Response.txt , Warning for Capss and P-flood But I am glad to be able to use all the other possibilities of Viper again.
