Okay, here's a question thats probably been asked loads of times, I want to make a chat client to use in the buzzen chat rooms, now I know buzzen does things differently and that's something I'll have to figure out.
My question is, why do we need a patched ocx? Cant we simply get the ocx to connect locally and then decide what information we relay back and forth to the server? We do this anyway when we use a patched ocx so why not just use the original ocx, I've always been confused by this.
Secondly.. is there a patched ocx for the new chat control? And can you handle events for it... I am talkin mainly about the menu you get when you left click a chatters name in the chatters list (dont tell me it cant be done, I've seen it, and if you're a member of this forum you've probably seen it too... wink wink).
Anyway, thats all I got for the time being, I've just upgraded to VB .NET and its like I'm starting out all over again, Lol.
Thanks for ya time guys.
