:-[Ok when I first got my Tweak XP, I didn't configure it correctly and I had trouble similar to yours This is what I did............ ;D In cache optimization, there are two applications. One is for CPU usage, and the other is memory usage. The options are applications and background tasks you can tick for both applications. In the first one, CPU usage, I mistakenly ticked applications which made my CPU work so hard it started crackin a fit. jumping from 7% to 100%. This action of mine was making my modem speed slow down so much at times I was being disconnected on a regular basis. My dialup modem usually runs at 49.2. But with what I did , the speed had dropped to 16.01kbps which made it nearly impossible to stay connected. Anyway thats what happened to me I don't know if ur running some sort of enhancement program, but if you are, then maybe you could look at what I have suggested to make it better for you Patient as eva...........................

If you suspect a trojan.. there are quite a few that can with-stand detection ... One of the most common is a innocent error pop-up telling you that one of your applications is missing a .dll (Dynamic Link Library) ... The pop-up will say that you are missing SETUP32.DLL or some other "innocent" .dll ... After you click "OK" the trojan virus copies itself to :
Windows\System directory as MSCVH32.EXE and modifies your registry so it will be activated during every windows boot ...
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run Load MSchv32 Drv = C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\MSchv32.exe
The second varient installs itself in another way ... It's error pop-up will tell you ISAPI32.DLL is missing ...
Again.. the virus will copy itself three (3) times to Windows\ and Windows\System under these names :
c:\windows\rsrcload.exe c:\windows\system\mgadeskdll.exe c:\windows\system\csmctrl32.exe
These will be your "New" registry settings after the virus has copied itself :
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run Load Mgadeskdll =C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\Mgadeskdll.exe
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run Load Rsrcload = C:\WINDOWS\Rsrcload.exe
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServices Load Csmctrl32 = C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\Csmctrl32.exe
If you have anything remotely close to what I have posted here.. you then have a Delphy 3 Socket Trojan ... <<>> Undetectable ...
Sincerely CourtneyDS
