Getting a brown hammer

I'm having trouble getting the brown hammer when im in a room under my viper...I tried using the /password but it doesnt work when in my viper i was just given the password now i need to get the hammer how do i do that

the command is: /pass

then you get a popup where you can enter the pass for the room, do you atleast get to that part?
