Hi all, Ive been connecting fine, rebooted my PC this morning and i cant get into MSN Groups. 1st i get "Could not be successfully authenticate by chat server" then if i hit retry i get Runtime error 10049 I tried to get in with a browser and had to hit retry several time to authenticate the browser. Does anyone know if something changed? I reloaded & registered the connectionproxy, and the addy is set to 251. . . . . still no go Any suggestion greatly appreciated  ST4 and offline  |

Hiya all, Thanks Watcher, i tried what you suggested and deleted the cookies, files and the chatcontrol. Reloaded the connection proxy and registered. I have registered the MSNChat45n.ocx again The VGrabber had trouble getting in but after a few "retry's" it got in. It took several tries but got Viper in there too. One problem i have is the moment i get a retry in Viper it crashes and comes up with a 10049 error. ST4 and online  |

I reloaded Vbrun and mdac, vipers in 1st shot every time.

i tried the delete cookies thing and cache thing and still no go there †Đeådwa†cђer†
i still get the same thing authentication erroe then retry then the engine 10049 error:S
be at this all day and have tried everything

I would uninstall viper remove all folders related to viper and then do a fresh install and go from there!

but if ya can help me find what i thought was a viper bot for yahoo that would be kewl

Hiya slowpoke,
Am i right in thinking you are getting to the room ok with viper, but that your not in <<botmode>>??
If you are you will see <<botmode>> in the top left hand corner of viper.
If not check the dropdown menu
/Extras/botmode/autobotmodejoin is selected and try again.
If it still isnt working , you could try hitting CTRL B several times, after the room screen comes up, but before you actually connect.
